That's right - the shop is closed today so that we can celebrate the holiday with our families.

Let's all remember that Memorial Day is not just a fun 3-day weekend for barbecues, trips to the beach, and kicking off summer. Today we honor those who have given the ultimate sacrifice in order to protect the freedoms we enjoy every day.

And to each and every member of our military forces who continue to serve our country all around the world, we thank you from the very bottom of our hearts.

Clocky Saves the Day!

Do you know anyone who has trouble getting up in the morning, even with an alarm clock AND sets a wake-up call on their cell phone?

Well, we've got the most perfectest thing you could possibly give this special someone. For your gifting pleasure, we present...

CLOCKY!

What is it, you ask? Well, it's pretty awesome if you ask us - it's an alarm clock...on wheels. You set your desired wake-up time, and when it goes off, Clocky literally RUNS away! It can be placed on a table or nightstand up to 3 feet high. At the set time, it shrieks loudly - some might even say obnoxiously - and wheels away out of arm's reach! Clocky basically forces you to get up out of bed to turn it off, and by the time you catch it, you're up.

Clever, yes? We've tested it out for ourselves, and it works like a charm. And Clocky is just so darn cute, you don't want to throw it out the window - you want to give it a big hug and thank it for helping you get up in the morning.

We're off to New York City for the National Stationery Show!

If you've never heard of it, the NSS is a fantastic annual convention for fun shops that offer stationery, cards, gifts, party supplies, etc. - so it's Cordially Invited's favorite time of year! We get to browse all of the latest products from over 900 different vendors, see all of the coolest new trends, check out some really awesome stuff.

What does this mean for you? Well, for now - it's business as usual. The shop is still open during regular business hours, and our fabulous staff is available to help you with whatever you need - cards, gifts, custom gift wrapping. AND it means that we'll be placing orders for all sorts of terrific new items to stock our shelves and share with you!

Plus, stay tuned for updates on the launch of Cordially Invited's new website! We'll be sharing our custom invitations and stationery, offering great tips and party ideas, and soon - an online shop. We're really excited for the website to go live, and we'll keep you posted as to when you'll be able to check it out.
